The ignition is keyless. I pressed to turn off the engine and it shut off. But i forgot to shift into park. I exited the car. The car started rolling backward. I ran back to it, jumped in and shifted to park, stopping the car. If i hadn't noticed and stopped the car, someone might have been hurt. When you stop the engine, there should be an automatic shift to park or an automatic activation of the emergency brake.

The contact had to call a tow truck to have the vehicle unlocked. The contact had not notified the dealer. The manufacturer was not notified of this failure. The failure mileage was 80,000. The vin was not available.

Driver and passenger door freezes and although the doors appear to unlock when parked the doors will not open. Evan after 30 minutes of travel time when car has more than ample time to warm itself. Also door locks me out even with the fob on my person. The car is stationary in both situations.
