I have noticed a gasoline smell in the passenger compartment of my 2017 honda cr-v ex from time to time, so i did some online research and found that the problem is widespread. It seems similar vehicles suffer from the same problem where gas is leaking into the oil. I checked my oil level, and sure enough the level is very high and the oil smells like gas.

I have observed high oil levels and raw fuel odors on the dip stck, along with raw fuel odors in the cabin. I know honda is aware of the issue but has offered no guidance. Tell they have a fix in place, honda should be giving free oil changes to prevent engine damage and premature wear and tear.
