Engine oil is being contaminated with gasoline. Noticeable symptoms are strong smell of gas outside and inside vehicle when engine is warm, increasing oil level and oil viscosity loss. Problem was discovered after 1000 mi of vehicle use.

Very strong smell of gasoline inside the car and standing beside the car on the drivers side after refueling at gas station. I did not see any spilled gas or any leaks. Gas is getting into the engine oil causing oil viscosity loss. It is also causing to much fluid in the oil pan and potentially damaging engine internals with to much fluid and loss of lubrication. Engine does not reach operating temperature in cold weather, causing poor performance and not heat from the hvac system.

Fuel is getting into the oil causing dilution. My oil level has increased as a result of that and it can cause the oil to loose viscosity which won't make the oil as effective on the engine and can cause long term engine damage.
