Airbag light comes on intermittently. Told by honda dealer that this is due to seatbelt part that is faulty on the driver's side. Is this part of a recall? I bought the car in 2017 and i am not sure what recalls have been missed.

While having the vehicle serviced for routine maintenance by an independent mechanic she was informed that the seat belt sensor failed and the air bags would not deploy in the event of a crash.
