    The tire was flat for no apparent reason and we pulled into a uhaul location where they filled air and apparently no air was leaking. However, we took the vehicle into costco tire center since the michelins were purchased there and they examined and said the rims were "damaged". There is no visible damage from outside but according to them, the air leaks from the inside in the rim and the tire has been flat again.…

    Flat tire was observed. The stock steel rims and tire were examined. A crack was discovered along the seam of the rim leaking air looking at it from the axle perspective. I've had friends with similar problems with the crv rims. *js

The vehicle was taken to the dealer who advised the contact that she would have to replace the rims. There were no recalls for the failure. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 59,000.
