I took my crv in for service at silko honda in raynham, ma. They diagnosed a short in the driver side airbag inflator. I believe that this issue should be covered because that airbag was replaced 2 years ago as part of the takata recall. I am disappointed that the warranty for this part is only 1 year. I believe that honda should cover the repair of this safety sensitive issue as part of the ongoing issues with its…

My airbag light sporadically comes on when the car is stationary and in motion. I had my local dealer examine the issue and they said it was due to a faulty sensor in my driver seat belt buckle. The light doesn't come on every time that i drive the car. Some times days go by with normal driving that the light doesn't come on and then there are multiple days in a row when the light comes on.
