Drivers door lock makes a loud,grinding sound when the door is locked. Unable to lock the vehicle. Door lock actuator replaced, lasted one day, problem came back. Rear left door lock does not open or close using the remote. It must be manually opened or closed.

Door locks on 2013 honda crv are not working. Sometimes they work soooo well...i can't even unlock the door !!!! And sometimes they don't work at all. In the process of replacing actuators,,,,have replaced 4 of 5 doors. Each replacement is about $200-$250. I learned through research that recall was in effect for crv from 2007-2011. Obviously, honda hasn't solved the problem.
