Seat Belts
Was told by local dealer srs light led to seat belt buckle.. Would not fix without big diagnosis fee and cost of part. Did some research on web and found this looks like a very common problem.

Three days ago my daughter has a car accident. Her car was hit and the other driver left the scene. Since then the airbag light is on and the seatbelt is not working. I took the car to a dealership and there's no recall. We are worried because my daughter could have been seriously hurt and the airbag didn't protect her. The car was stationary when it was hit.

I recently purchased a 2017 honda cr-v with the intent of using it as a 5 passenger vehicle. However, the rear seat belt does not allow to safely buckle 3 children in the back even though it was purchased as a 5 passenger vehicle. There are 3 seat belts provided but they cross over each other in a manner that makes the seat belts twist and does not safely buckle 3 children in at one time.

Seat Belts
The left, rear (behind driver) seat belt latch is in the wrong position creating a safety hazard. When three (3) passengers are on the rear seat, the belt from the center crosses over the belt from the left at the latching points; thereby creating a point of double load where the belts cross. In an accident this could be catastrophic. The problem is a design flaw that i noticed on the day specified on this form.
