    Michelin defender xt green x tires are cracked and separating around all the tread. Only have 35,000 miles on tires and are less than 4yrs old. Some cracking is also on sidewalls but mostly in the tread. Also have vibration at 60+ mph due to tread separating from tire. This is the 4th vehicle i have had these tires dry rot and cracking.     Rusted wheel bearings & rusted knuckle that bearing is seated in. Vehicle is garaged & has 46000 miles. Service manager said it is a common problem with honda vehicles. Knuckle broke when attempt to remove at honda dealership. Blamed on rust.

    I purchased a new 2010 honda cr-v and it is used regularly. The tire pressure has been low on several occasions due to nail in the tire or just low pressure. However, never has the sensor activated for this or made me aware that there is a low tire pressure issue. The car is regularly brought to be serviced at the honda center.     Driver side rear tire blew up due to manufacturing defect. Fortunately there was no traffic and it did not cause an accident. Bridgestone, dealership, and honda motor company was contacted in that order but no remedy has been offered by any of these parties. *js
