    Original owner noted missing lugnut on rear driver side wheel-stud was broken off during routine tire check. Unknown when this fell off. Took in for service. Mechanic noted that three additional wheel studs on different wheels snapped with minimal torque while rotating tires. Auto with 40,000 miles, tires are aftermarket, wheel rim oem. Wheels last changed (with new tire purchase) about 15 mo prior to this event.

    I have 20,901 miles on the bridgestone tires that came with my vehicle when i bought it new in 2011. I have been told by the dealership when i take it in for servicing that my tires are need replacing. I was considering replacing them, but i have read that the premature tire wear will happen again after replacing. It is my understanding that this is a known problem with the cr-v.
